About Eco
WELCOME TO THE OFFICIAL ECO WIKI
Eco is an online world from Strange Loop Games where players must build civilization using resources from an ecosystem that can be damaged and destroyed. The world of Eco is an incredibly reactive one, and whatever any player does in the world affects the underlying ecosystem. For more information about the game see on play.eco
The start date of development is considered to be September 19th, 2014, when the first video with a very early prototype of the game was released.
Eco start with Successful Kickstarter company from August 7th, 2015 to September 10th, 2015
Eco was released on Steam Early Access on February 6th, 2018.
The latest version of Eco is 0.13.0.3.
Release Eco 1.0 expected in Q4 2024 / Q1 2025

Hello Eco Citizens, nearly all objects in Eco 12.0 can now be placed independent of the world grid and freely rotated, allowing for completely new designs in player homes.
