== Stone Axe ==
The Stone Axe is usually the first type of axe players use, it can be crafted in the [[Workbench]] and one is given to the player when placing down the starter [[Campsite]].

It has a base damage of 1 and a base calorie cost of 20, and can be used 250 times before needing repair.

== Iron Axe ==
A big improvement over the Stone Axe, the Iron Axe can be acquired by crafting it on an [[Anvil]] or by specializing into the [[Logging]] skill.

It has a base damage of 1.5 and a base calorie cost of 17, and can be used 750 times before needing repair.

== Steel Axe ==
The Steel Axe is slightly better in all areas than the Iron Axe and can be acquired by crafting it on an [[Anvil]].

== Modern Axe ==

The Modern Axe, which does only slightly more damage than a steel axe but significantly reduces the need of repairs and food, can be acquired by crafting it in an [[Assembly Line]].

It has a base damage of 2.5 and a base calorie cost of 10, and can be used a whopping 2500 times before needing repair.

== Chainsaw ==

The Chainsaw is the strongest type of "axe" in-game. The Chainsaw does massive amounts of damage compared to the Modern Axe.

It has a base damage of 10, which is 4 times higher than the Modern Axe. The calorie cost and durability remain the same, with a base calorie cost of 10, and 2500 usages before needing repair.

== Notes ==
The old 'generic' Axe has been removed from normal gameplay and can only be obtained through the [[Chat Commands|Chat Command]] "/give axe".
