Wolves carnivores (meat eating) animals that players can kill for meat.
Behavior
Typically, the Wolf will walk a slow pace, stop and graze nearby food.
If a player steps within roughly a 10 block radius of a Wolf, the Wolf will run away from the player, sometimes in an erratic pattern, to avoid being hurt.
Players can get closer to the Wolf before it runs by wearing Camo Clothing.
Hunting
A Wolf can only be killed with the Bow and Arrows.
Once killed, the Wolf will die where it stands and the player can then retrieve the carcass to be processed.
Strategy
- Since they are very adept at climbing hills, try to hunt Wolves in open areas. This way, you can keep an eye on them during the chase.
