Behaviour[edit | edit source]

Typically, the Fox will walk a medium pace, stop and graze nearby food.

If a player steps within roughly a 10 block radius of a Fox, the Fox will run away from the player, sometimes in an erratic pattern, to avoid being hurt.

Players can get closer to the Fox before it runs by wearing Camo Clothing.

A Fox may kill nearby prey animals, but it will not eat them, and the player can collect the carcass.

Hunting[edit | edit source]

A Fox can only be killed with the Bow and Arrows.

Once killed, the Fox will die where it stands and the player can then retrieve the carcass to be processed.

Strategy[edit | edit source]

  • Since they are very adept at climbing hills, try to hunt Fox in open areas. This way, you can keep an eye on them during the chase.
