Basalt is a rock. It is the strongest rock in Eco, and can only be broken by a Tier 4 tool. It can be broken with a Modern Pickaxe, or a Steel Pickaxe with the Tool Strength perk.

Basalt is found in the deep ocean by swimming down to the bottom.
