As a Carpenter you will need [[Hewn Log]] to craft furniture. In a High Collaboration Server it is wise to go into [[logging]] first or find someone, that will sell you Hewn Logs. In later stages of the game you will need a [[Sawmill]] provided by [[Mechanics|mechanics profession]]. With Carprentry your role is to craft furniture to get a better [[Housing|housing bonus]].
Other Professions are dependent on you as well, will you be choosing this profession. You can craft a [[Machinist Table]] for mechanics profession, a [[Kitchen]] for [[Cooking|cooking profession]], a [[Loom]] for (insert Profession here) and a [[Tailoring Table]] for [[Tailor|tailor profession]].

Carpenter is Profession.
Carpenters use harvested logs to craft a variety of useful products. Wood is an excellent source of building materials and furniture for homes.

Specialties

The Carpenter Profession includes the following Specialties:

Carpentry

Cutting logs into usable crafting and building materials is an important skill for budding communities. Levels up by crafting related recipes.

Paper Milling

Paper to carry the written word. Or used to stuff in bookshelves. Levels up by crafting related recipes.

Shipwright

Shipwrights uses the fundamental practical application of carpenters and applying it to maritime usage.

Logging

Wood is a useful resource and cutting down trees is a skill anyone can appreciate. Levels up by felling trees and clearing debris.

Composites

Allows the construction of advanced wood products for furniture and houses. Levels up by crafting related recipes.
