Charcoal is an item made at the Kiln by burning Logs. It can be used as a Fuel in Crafting Table that burn biomass products.

In Beta 9.0 Charcoal is now made in the Kiln instead of the Blast Furnace. It is also now made with Logs instead of Lumber.
