Stone Roads are made at the Wainwright Table. They are placed in the world to create roads that increase the speed of vehicles. The Stone Hammer and subsequent upgrades to the hammer are used to pick up the Stone Road once placed in the world.
Strategy[edit | edit source]
Depending on the look and distance of the road that the player is trying to accomplish, as well as the cart they are using on that road, often determines the width that most players chose to make a Stone Road. Generally, 2-wide roads are used for Small Wood Cart, 4-wide roads are used for Wood Cart, and 6 to 8-wide roads are used for Powered Cart.
Try to plan out Stone Road ahead of time with several Dirt Ramp and Dirt Road (made with the Road Tool) to ensure the carts will not fall off the road once replaced with stone.
Notes[edit | edit source]
- Stone Roads will not fall once attached to another block in the world and therefore make wonderful bridges.
