A Wetlands biome is an environment covered with mushrooms and thick foliage, primarily Salal and Buttonbush. It has a very high temperature, similar to the Desert, and a very high moisture content. It has limited agricultural use, yielding mostly Rice and mushrooms (Crimini, Amanita).

On the world map, it appears as a pale green landscape. Wetlands tiles texture have an appearance watery/swampy grass.

As of Beta 8.0, Wetlands have been disabled and will not generate in any new worlds.
