Small Canoe is a vehicle in Eco. It is the first water aquatic vehicle players are able to craft allowing players to cross water easily. It allows you to transport up to 400 kg of items (with 3 slots) which are displayed visually in front of the driver.

Small Canoes allow travel over Deep Ocean uses vastly less calories than swimming allowing more effective travel over water.

Strategy

A Small canoe allows water travel and the transporting very small quantities of materials long distances over water. The player uses WASD to control the wood canoe and the direction the player is looking is independent from the way the canoe moves. This allows a player to look around while using the same controls and this makes it easier when maneuvering in tight spaces. The bow (front) of the Small Canoe is where the ring is located and is the direction the player faces when seated to paddle.

Accessing canoes

If a player wants to access a canoe belonging to someone else, the player must have permission of the canoe's owner in order to interact with it. This is done by clicking and selecting a player or demographic in the Authorization tab of the cart.

Tips

  • Small Canoe can easily be paddled downstream and across lakes and oceans, but may struggle to go upstream as the river goes up in elevation.
  • Small Canoe only needs 1 space of clearance to go under bridges, though can be paddled under a Docks Platform built in that space. The player's head may clip into the block visually with only 1 space of clearance however.
