The Hewn Log is a Tier 1 construction material made from Wood.
Hewn Logs can be placed in various block forms for construction while a hammer is active. Hold "F" to view the options for placement including the type of Hewn Log to be placed, and how you place the Hewn Log.
As an important early building material (along with Mortared Stone), it is used as an ingredient for several skill books.
