Pipes are blocks that allows you to transport liquids and gases, such as Water, Sewage, and Smog.
Currently, there are 3 types of Pipes: Copper Pipe, Iron Pipe and Steel Pipe.
Extra info[edit | edit source]
- Smog cannot be contained and will pollute around the exhaust point at the surface level of the world even if buried underground.
- Be careful when activating a Water Pump that is hooked up to water. The water spray can create water blocks and cause issues.
- You can transport Water through Pipes by using a Water Pump. Sewage can be transported and turned back into Water via the Waste Filter.
- If you do not use your tables after x amount of time, the area around the exhaust point will return to a pollution free area.
Troubleshooting[edit | edit source]
- Pipes require a Water Pump to initiate flow into the pipe system. You should have 1 or more pipes touching a water block and a Water Pump nearby that connect to that pipe.
- Each pipeline is its own system when determining water requirements. This can be broken up by adding other pumps in the pipeline. This information is useful when trying to make a pipeline for multiple uses, such as providing water to a machine and dump water on a Waterwheel or other application within "one" pipeline.
- If the pipeline system is trying to supply water to a machine, such as a Steam Engine, the system must NOT have an open portion of the pipe spewing water. If you need this, it is advised to place a pump on each side of the water opening.
- Pipes can supply water over a large distance with a Water Pump
- Creating a pipeline consisting of different Pipe types will stop that pipeline from working. It has to consist of one type only. (For example; mixing copper pipes and iron pipes wont work)
Example of use[edit | edit source]

History[edit | edit source]
- Beta 8.0.0 introduced new Objects that allow you to transport Water and Sewage. Also, allowing you to convert Sewage back to Water.
- Beta 7.2.x the Pipes sole purpose is to transport Smog.
