Culture is a mechanic to boost the influence of its town. The more influence a town has, the larger its influence is. People farther away from the settlement Constitution can join the settlement with more influence.
How to generate Culture
[edit | edit source]Different Professions can provide approaches for generating culture. The main ways to generate culture are:
- Get Your Architecture rated by other players
- Get Paintings or Photographs rated by other players
- Host Dinner Partys (Added in Update 12)

Paintings and Photographs
[edit | edit source]For creating Paintings you need an Easel, crafted without profession at a Carpentry Table, and Art Supplies, crafted by a painter. Place your Easel near your motive, Paint with your art supplies a painting. When you finished painting, you can Right-click on the painting to name it. You can give a description as well.
To get it to generate culture it need to be framed. A Frame can be for example a Wooden Frame Landscape, crafted by a carpenter, or for example a Copper Frame Landscape crafted by a blacksmith.
To place a Picture in a frame, place a frame on a wall. Select your painting in your inventory slot and place it the frame you are looking at. Now other people can give it reputation. With each point of reputation the painting gets, it generates more culture.
For creating Photographs you need either a Tripod Camera, crafted by a Mechanics skill, or a Handheld Camera, crafted by a Person with electronics skill. The procedure is the same as with paintings.
