Clay is a resource collected with a shovel. It is most abundant in the Rainforest biome, just beneath the surface, but can be found in other biomes as well.

Clay is mainly used for making bricks and pottery.

Location

Clay is found around Dirt. It is not associated with any rock formations.

Rainforest

Clay has a 55% chance of spawning in the Rainforest biome, 1-20 blocks under the surface.

Warm Forest

Clay has a 10% chance of spawning in the Warm Forest biome, 1-8 blocks under the surface.

Grasslands

Clay has a 5% chance of spawning in the Grasslands biome, 1-4 blocks under the surface.
