The maximum multiplier to nutrition experience gain participants can theoretically get is by default 200%, e.g. doubling it. In playtest I have seen some large ones with up to 170%.

Placing food on tables also allows a new gameplay feature, Dinner Parties! Host elaborate dinner parties for your neighbours, share a simple meal with a friend, or organize grand diplomatic banquets for citizens across the globe.

Have at least one other player present on your property, place some freshly cooked food on a table (needs to have the "steam" coming from it) and then both start to eat it from the table while sitting at it, the Dinner Party starts with an animation and a sound and will be announced on the server. People can participate for 30 minutes by default. You can have unlimited tables at the same time, as long as they are on the same deed.

For an optimal outcome, let people know about a time when to come to your plot and ask them for their favourite foods so you can prepare those, or just have a high variety of foods for them to pick available. By default, everyone can eat up to three foods (as long as stomach isn't full), but every unique food item can only be eaten once.

You get a better outcome the more guests you have, the better the eaten food items tasted for everyone eating, the higher the nutrition of the consumed foods were and the higher the architectural rating of your deed is - as such cultural deeds are advisable. You also get a bonus if guests are from many different settlements.
