The Arrow is required to use the Bow. As long as arrows are in the player's Toolbar or Backpack, they will be used as ammo for the bow.
Leftover arrows can also be used as fuel for the Campfire.
Hunting
When paired with the bow, arrows can be used to hunt animals. A player can wield the bow and use the left-mouse button to load and draw an arrow from the player's inventory and also hold the right-mouse-button to aim.
