Basic Engineering is Specialty related to the profession of Engineer.
Basic Engineering allows easier construction of roads and gives access to early forms of mechanical power. Levels up by crafting related recipes.

How to learn

Basic Engineering is learned by RMB on Basic Engineering Skill Scroll, what was obtained from the Basic Engineering Skill Book.
When learning a Basic Engineering Skill Scroll, depending on the server settings, the player can also receive several Claim Paper Item to expand Homestead.

Benefits and item availability by level:

The study of specialization start from level 0 when learning a Basic Engineering Skill Scroll and increases to level 1 by spending a star.
The maximum level of Basic Engineering specialization that can be achieved is level 7.

At 3rd level, the player can choose one of two proposed talents:

Reduce resource cost of Waterwheels and increases craft speed.

Windequalsenergy: BasicEngineering

Reduce resource cost of Windmills and increases craft speed.

At 6th level, the player can choose one of two proposed talents:

Vehicular Design: BasicEngineering

Reduce resource costs for wheels recipes.

Roadworks: BasicEngineering

Unlocks Asphalt Recipe.
