History

Before Version 7.4 the Pump Jack's best location to be placed on the oil layer map was the darker purple areas. This has since been reversed and is now the White areas.

When placed in an area were the oil layer is white, it will produce 1 [[Petroleum]] barrel in less than 1 minute. Therefore, the white or yellow areas are the better locations to place a Pump Jack (as of Version 7.4).
