Each Eco server generates a new world when it is started for the first time.
Although it appears to be a globe, the world is a 2-dimensional plane wrapped around at the edges.

Custom Parameters
You can change the attributes of a world through the server GUI or by editing the WorldGenerator.eco file before it is generated.
World Size
Main article: Server_Configuration#World_Size
World size is determined by (x,y) dimensions in WorldGenerator.eco, and is editable in the server GUI under WorldGenerator > Config. Worlds with larger dimensions will take longer to generate. The x and y dimensions must be equal and divisible by 4.
