The system requirements for Eco are listed below.

Please note: These specs are not final and may change. The game is not fully optimized and may still be unplayable or unstable on certain systems.

Client specs are intended for connecting to a server that is not on your computer. Players running the game on a locally hosted server (this includes single player) will need to meet both the client and server requirements.

Client Requirements

The Eco client is only supported on Windows. Clients for Mac and Linux are available, but provided as-is and not supported.

Minimum

  • Processor: Intel Dual-Core 2.4 GHz or AMD Dual-Core Athlon 2.5 GHz
  • Memory: 2 GB RAM
  • Graphics: NVIDIA Geforce GT 440 or AMD Radeon HD 5850 or Intel HD Graphics 4000 with 512 MB
  • DirectX: Version 11
  • Network: Broadband Internet connection
  • Storage: 2 GB available space
  • Sound Card: DirectX®-compatible

Recommended

  • Processor: Intel Core i5-2300 or AMD Phenom II X4
  • Memory: 4 GB RAM
  • Graphics: NVIDIA Geforce GT 570 or AMD Radeon HD 7750 with 1 GB VRAM or better
  • DirectX: Version 11
  • Network: Broadband Internet connection
  • Storage: 2 GB available space
  • Sound Card: DirectX®-compatible

Server Requirements

The Eco server is only supported on Windows and for Update 9.0 the server has been migrated to .NET Core 3.0 and can be run on any linux distribution using 'dotnet'.

Requirements will vary depending on the desired world size. These requirements support the default world size of 72x72 

  • Processor: Intel Core i5 or AMD equivalent. The more CPU cores the better. 
  • Memory: 4GB of ram 
  • Storage: 1GB HDD space
  • Software: Microsoft .NET 4.6.2 or newer. (Updated automatically on Windows 10)
  • Software: Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable 2019 (Download at Microsoft)
