Aqueduct Building[edit | edit source]

Build Option with Aqueducts

Aqueducts are built by using Brick. When carrying bricks and selecting the Hammer-Tool, you can find the Aqueduct-Block under basic shape and selecting of Aqueduct.

Aqueducts must be built in a V-Shape and will then allow water to flow over vast distances, testing has shown water can travel 150+ blocks when used in aqueducts. Waters default travel is 8 Blocks of flows if surrounded by any other material.

Aqueduct V-Shape

Aqueducts can not be used to transport water up any elevations, however they can be used when going down hill and will continue to transport water.

No clearance needed for water to flow

Aqueduct Pools[edit | edit source]

Example Pool built with Aqueduct

Aqueducts can be used to create pools for waterwheels, clean water supplies for industry such as Smelting, Advanced Smelting, or other Mechanical Power generation needs, and decorative displays for town centers.

Aqueduct pools must be made of brick aqueduct blocks at least 1+ block deep and can be any size length & width.

Use with Waterwheels[edit | edit source]

If planned used is for waterwheels it is highly recommended to be at least 1 block wider than the total number of waterwheels as they count as a block that stops the flow of water in an aqueduct past that point. An example pool for a single waterwheel would be an exterior size of 9x4x2.

Use with Pipes[edit | edit source]

Adding Pipe to Aqueduct

When connecting Iron Pipe, or Copper Pipe to a aqueduct as a water supply an L shape is often the best method as it does not impact the flow of water. When placing pipes into an aqueduct if landing vertically will prevent the flow of water on shallow aqueducts that are less than 2 blocks deep. Pipes may also be connected at the side / end of an aqueduct and replace the wall, however water spread should be expected for up to 8 blocks around the open area.
