Granite is a type of rock. It can be found all over the surface of most worlds but seems to be most common in mountains.

Gold Ore spawns with Granite. Gold blocks look similar to Granite but will appear shinier than the surrounding rock.

Granite can be used to make a unique variant of Mortared Stone
